Or whether there is a recording of him playing Schubert? Just click on one of the search buttons above to look for recordings by Composition, the Location or Date of a recording or the Label or Catalog number of a record or video. The idea for this Web site came from a desire to create a database of my Glenn Gould records. Once started, I realised that putting it on the Web would allow me to share what I knew about those recordings with others interested in Glenn Gould. The Internet has brought me into contact with many other Glenn Gould fans through the excellent mailing list F_Minor and the many Web sites dedicated to my favourite pianist. This is my attempt to return the favour. My sources of information were the information booklets included with the discs and tapes, verified by the many books on Glenn Gould, including Nancy Canning's discography in Otto Friedrich's "A Life and Variations" and her own "A Glenn Gould Catalog". Along the way, there were and are many discrepancies among the various sources. I've done my best to reflect a common sense approach to differing details. Of necessity, this is a Work In Progress. I keep adding to and fine tuning
the information (you can check the history file).
